Iraqi President Jalal Talabani has left here for New York to attend UN General Assembly meetings due to begin on Monday. Talabani will deliver his country's speech at the meetings, and will participate in several others meetings to be held on the sidelines of the 65th session of the UN General Assembly, said the Iraqi Presidency in a press release here Saturday. The Iraqi leader is also expected to hold talks with several world leaders who are to be present in the UN meetings on ways and means of promoting and developing Iraq's relations with their countries, according to the press release.
