Kuwait's new Ambassador to Oman Salem Al-Zamnan has arrived here to take up his new diplomatic assignment. Speaking to KUNA upon arrival, Al-Zamnan hailed Kuwaiti-Omani relations in all fields, saying that both Kuwaiti and Omani peoples share many political, cultural and social commonalities. He hoped that bilateral ties would be further reinforced and consolidated in the future in order to fulfill both brotherly nations' ambitions and wishes under the leadership of Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman. "Cooperative relations between Oman and Kuwait are being constantly developed, he said," hoping that bilateral political, economic, educational, cultural and social cooperation would rise to fresh horizons.
