Prince Khalid bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy President of the Council of Trustees of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Acts, stated that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has issued an order establishing an international foundation with the name of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Acts. The foundation's goals include building of and support for mosques and Islamic centers; support for, encouragement of and contribution to dialogue among followers of civilizations and religions; promotion of moderation, tolerance, peace, values and ethics; reconciliation of Islamic sects, curbing division and antagonism, renunciation of violence and fighting all forms of crime. The goals also include work and services relating to teaching and publishing the Islamic Sharia; establishment of universities, colleges, other educational institutions and treatment centers; establishment of research chairs; helping researchers and students; holding courses and forums; encouragement of translation from Arabic and vice versa; cooperation with other institutions; provision of relief services and aid. The foundation will present an international prize named Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Prize in the fields relevant to the goals of the foundation.
