Egyptian central bank leaves key interest rates unchanged

The Central Bank of Egypt decided Thursday to leave
its key interest rates unchanged.
The bank said its Monetary Policy Committee chose to keep the
overnight deposit rate and overnight lending rate at 8.25 per cent
and 9.75 per cent, respectively, dpa reported.
The rates have been on hold since September 2009.
