Muslims performed today Eid prayers throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In Makkah, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah ibn Abdulaziz performed Eid prayers along with groups of worshippers at the Holy Mosque. Lebanese Premier Saad al-Hariri also performed Eid prayers at the Holy Mosque along with King Abdullah. Eid prayers at the Holy mosque were attended by Prince Metib ibn Abdulaziz, Prince Badr ibn Abdulaziz, the Deputy Commander of the national guard, Prince Naif ibn Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, as well as other princes and senior officials. Eid prayers at the Holy Mosque were led by Dr Salih ibn Abdullah ibn Humeid, who said in his speech that Eid is an occasion for delight and happiness. He noted that Islam is the message of Allah almighty and it the end of the heavenly religions. --more
