Saudi Consul General in New Zealand Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Juhani today reassured that none of the Saudi students in New Zealand was harmed following the strong earthquake that hit some southern cities. He explained that nearly 600 Saudi students have their lessons in the city of Chris Churges in addition to 180 in the city of Deneden, confirming that the Consulate General was, since the first shock, holding emergency meetings to follow-up the situation of the students, calling their mobile phones and providing them with necessary guides and instructions in such cases. He said that the Consulate General has, under directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the follow-up of Prince Khalid bin Saud bin Khalid, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, managed to hire two buildings to shelter Saudi citizens.
