The second batch of the Saudi medical and technical staff, representing various health specialists including doctors; nurses and technicians arrived this evening at Karachi International Airport to oversee the operation of the second Saudi field hospital being built in the city "Ththa", southern Pakistan. At Karachi Airport, the staff of the Saudi medical team was received by the Saudi Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadeer and a number of senior Saudi and Pakistani officials. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the ambassador Al-Ghadeer said that the second batch includes 127 doctor and technician (from the Saudi Armed Forces and Ministry of Health), who will work to provide those affected by floods in Sindh province with medical and treatment services. On the occasion, he extended deep appreciations of and thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; the Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General and Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of the Interior for their continuous and great humanitarian support of the people of Pakistan.
