Saudi-Sudanese Joint Ministerial Committee is to hold a meeting by the end of this year here within its third session, in order to consolidate and promote bilateral relations on all levels. In a press statement to SPA, Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Faisal bin Hamid Mualla pointed out that the Kingdom is very keen to strenghen bilateral relations with Sudan, in line with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Bilateral trade volume, according to the latest statistics released by Sudanese Ministry of Investment showed an increase in Saudi investment projects sanctioned by Sudan, the Ambassador said. The number of such projects increased from 26 in 2000 to 737 in 2008, covering almost all sectors, industrial, agricultural and services, at an estimated value of $ 5, 681 billions. -- SPA
