In line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah ibn Abdul-Aziz, and under the supervision of Prince Naif ibn Abdul-Aziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, 24 trucks loaded with food materials were distributed in Peshawar, north west Pakistan. Dr Khalid Al-Othmani, the regional director of the campaign of the Two Holy Mosques for the relief of the Pakistani people, said the food materials were distributed to 6,000 affected families in coordination with the department of management of disasters and refugees commission in Pakistan with the follow up of Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdul-Aziz Al-Ghadeer. The food materials included flour, rice, beans, lentil, milk and cooking oil. The Pakistani officials expressed appreciation for the support extended by the Kingdom to their country.
