A group of Jewish settlers shot fire on three Palestinian youths from the town of Dayr Istiya as they were working in their olive groves. The sources quoted the municipality of Dayr Istiya as saying that while the three young Palestinians were engaged in the process of fertilizing olive groves in the north of the territory of the city, they were surprised to be attacked by a bunch of Jewish settlers on horseback, firing at their direction and chasing them. The municipality added that these Jewish abuses are a continuation of the series of aggression by settlers against Palestinian farmers, especially in the area of Maqar Tawfeeg and areas of Wadi Qana, Kherbah and Shehadeh. Dayr Istiya Municipality appealed to all human rights bodies and international solidarity organizations for 'an immediate intervention and to put an end to these attacks and abuses by Jewish settlers, especially as the olive harvest would be in the upcoming month of October.
