Wohaibi noted that non-governmental humanitarian organizations have been doing their best to extend assistance to victims of disasters. "However, these organizations face several obstacles including lack of enough financial resources due to the current world economic crisis." Dr Al-Wohaibi expressed appreciation for the support extended to WAMY by the Saudi government as well as popular organizations and philanthropists in a manner that enables it perform its mission in various countries of the world. Speeches were also delivered on dialogue among followers of cultures. The speakers expressed appreciation for the efforts exerted by King Abdullah to narrow gap and enhance understanding among followers of religions.
