Prince Naif Ibn Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior received here last night President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) Bakri Thamir Assass accompanied by a number of the University's officials including Thamir Hamdan AL Harbi, Dean of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj Researches; Nabeel Abdulqadir Kushak, Director of Center of Excellence for Hajj and Umrah researches and a number of academicians. During the reception, Prince Naif stressed the importance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj Researches as a scientific reference for all Hajj and Umrah affairs and researches. The Institute, Prince Naif said, has competent cadres to provide prominent scientific studies for the present time and also for the future. The Prince reiterated on the fact that Makkah, the holy city will last forever and that Hajj rituals will survive until the end of days, and thus we are all required to work on everything that helps pilgrims to perform rituals easily and with ease. "It is a duty of top concern for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince and all workers in all sectors of government and civil sectors." He called on the Institute officials to develop a comprehensive and long-term Hajj strategy supported by research conducted by professionals and experienced cadres, hoped that there will be formation of a working group with a number of scholars, engineers , security officers and any other specialty as legal consultants to set up Hajj strategy for the future years. --More
