It has become the largest oil and gas specific exhibition seen in over a decade in the Eastern Province. In its 2nd edition, SAOGE played host to 274 companies from 31 countries, which included Italian and Chinese pavilions. Co-organized by IES and DIEC, it enjoyed a 23 percent growth in terms of participation compared to SAOGE 2008. Covering a total of 9,200 sq meters, the exhibition saw participation from all continents, with 40 percent of the exhibitors coming from the member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
