Aziz to the educational sector, the Makkah-based Al-Nadwa said the Royal approval of the decisions undertaken by the Higher Education Council reflects the keenness of the Monarch on developing the educational sector. The Kingdom's officials do believe that education is the fundamental element for development and progress, said the daily. "In consideration of this reality, the Kingdom has established universities and polytechnic colleges in addition to vocational training institutes."
