Armed men abducted two U.N.-African Union (UNAMID) peacekeepers in Sudan's Darfur region on Saturday in the biggest town Nyala, the mission said. "Two police advisers...got abducted about 100 metres (yards) from their accommodation in Nyala," Reuters quoted UNAMID spokesman Chris Cycmanick as saying, adding that three gunmen in a car took them away. An American woman working for the charity Samaritan's Purse was kidnapped almost three months ago near Nyala and remains in captivity.
