Four Afghan policemen were killed and four others wounded Saturday when a roadside bomb struck their vehicle, officials in the southern Afghan province of Helmand said. "Four policemen were martyred and four others wounded when a roadside bomb struck their vehicle," dpa quoted the provincial governor's spokesman Daud Ahmadi as saying. The incident took place in Gherishk, a district in southern Helmand province, he said. The vehicle had been on the way to Lashkargah, the capital city of Helmand. The four wounded were evacuated to a provincial hospital.
