The annual report of Saudi Aramco for 2009 issued recently, reaffirmed the role of Saudi Aramco as the most important and reliable source of energy in the world in addition to its role in the development of societies. In 2009, the company carried out its biggest investment program for increasing its productive capacity up to 12 million barrels per day. Introducing the report, Minister of Petroleum & Mineral resources, Ali Ibrahim Al Naimi said Saudi Aramco which is the biggest source of energy in the world, is committed to the development of the national economy and diversification of its sources in addition to its role as regards the stability of the oil markets. On his part, Saudi Aramco's President Eng. Khalid Al-Falih reiterated the keenness of the company on providing its customers with energy supplies He noted that Saudi Aramco has entered in the domain of petrochemical industries in cooperation with a number of international companies.
