Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has received a number of cables of congratulations on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. The cables were from President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates; President Blaise Compaore of Burkina Faso; President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali of Tunisia; President Bashar Al-Assad of Syria; President Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the State of Palestine, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, President of the Palestinian National Authority; Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani of Qatar; President Laurent Gbagbo of Cote d'Ivoire; President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak of Egypt; President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria; Vice-President, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Defense Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of the United Arab Emirates; and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait. In reply cables, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques thanked them for their noble feelings, praying to Allah Almighty to accept their fasting and prayers.
