Saudi International Petrochemical Company (SIPCHEM) has signed an agreement with Rhodia, an international French chemical company, for building a new factory for production of ethyl acetate in the Industrial City of Jubail. This development comes within the framework of the company's expansion program. Under the agreement the French company will establish and operate the new factory with a productive capacity of 100,000 metric tons. Eng Ahmad al-Ohali, SIPCHEM's executive president, underlined the importance of dealing with big international companies concerned with petrochemicals.
