1 killed, 5 injured in Aqaba rocket attack in Jordan

A Jordanian citizen was killed Monday and 5 others were injured when a rocket landed in front of the Intercontinental Hotel in the southern city of Aqaba, according to Petra.
Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications Ali Al Ayed said that Subhi Alawneh died of wounds he sustained in the explosion which occurred on Monday morning.
Al Ayed added that two cars were burnt in addition to some material damage.
He said that security forces are investigating the event.
