Jordanian newspapers shed light today on the significance of the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah ibn Abdul-Aziz to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Al-Dastour newspaper said the warm welcome given to the Saudi Monarch by the Jordanian government and people embodies the existing distinguished relations between Saudi Arabia and Jordan and the keenness of the Saudi and Jordanian leaderships on enhancing the pillars of Arab solidarity as well as confronting the Zionist plots against the Arab nation. On its part al-Arab newspaper said the visit of King Abdullah ibn Abdul-Aziz to Jordan comes at time when the Arab nation is passing critical circumstances. It noted that King Abdullah ibn Abdul-Aziz has earned respect at the regional and international arenas due to his role in the service of the Arab and Muslim causes as well as his role in enhancing culture of dialogue among followers of cultures and religions. The Saudi-Jordanian relations are based on the bases of coordination and consultation, said the newspaper. Meanwhile, al-Saraya newspaper said the Saudi-Jordanian relations have developed during the era of King Abdullah ibn Abdul-Aziz and King Abdullah II in all domains. The Saudi-Jordanian coordination constitutes the corner stone for the joint Arab policy as regards confronting all challenges, said the paper adding that the Jordanians do appreciate the role of King Abdullah ibn Abdul-Aziz in the service of the Arab and Muslim causes.
