International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) has joined United Nations' Department of Public Information (UNDPI) after meeting the required conditions in this respect. IIRO's secretary general Dr Adnan Basha said this development will enable IIRO to obtain directly and through E-mail all bulletins and reports as well as press statements pertaining to UNDPI. He noted that the IIRO will intensify its efforts, develop publications and allocate a great part of its publications for shedding light on the UN's reports and activities in the field of humanitarian services.
