Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom, and Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari, Minister of Higher Education, co-patronized in London today the graduation ceremony of the first batch of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Scholarships in Britain and Ireland. The event was attended by Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, Imam and Preacher of the Grand Mosque in Makkah. Addressing the gathering, Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz expressed pleasure of the graduation of more than 1200 Saudi male and female students who successfully completed their studies in the universities and institutes of the United Kingdom and Ireland. He congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the initiator of this program, on the success of the first batch. The ambassador also extended congratulations to the graduates, their parents and relatives. He described the program as a front platform for executing the far-sighted vision of the leadership that human resources are the correct investment of a developing nation. --More
