25 armed extremists were killed today during a security operation carried out by a pro-government A tribal militia, locally known as lashkars in the Pakistani Kurram agency, located in The Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA)in the northwest of Pakistan which has been witnessing sectarian tension. Geo news channel reported that the Lashars, recently formed by the government to undertake the responsibility of defending the region, launched an attack in the province and killed 25 armed extremists. Fighting is still going ahead between the pro-government lashkars and the elements which infiltrate into the Agency for carrying out subversive acts.
