The general presidency for affairs of the Holy Mosque will start to implement its five-stage plan for the blessed month of Ramadan. Dr Mohammed al-Khuzeyem, the Deputy President of the general president for the affairs of the Holy Mosque, said the plan aims at enabling worshippers to perform their rituals in an atmosphere of peacefulness and tranquility. The plan includes the awareness of the visitors of the Holy Mosque with their religious affairs. As regards services, the plan is concerned with providing the worshippers with Zamzam water taking into account the importance of the cleanliness of the Holy Mosque. All air conditioners and lighting facilities as well as microphones should be working well, he said. Al-Khuzeyem pointed out that 5702 workers will undertake the responsibility of carrying out the plan during blessed month of Ramadan. Al-Khuzeyem noted that final touches have been made for the project of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah ibn Abdulaziz for the development and expansion of al-Masaa. Al-Khuzeyem reiterated the keenness of the general presidency for the affairs of the Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque on enabling Umrah (minor Hajj) performers and visitors of the Prophet's Mosque to perform their rituals in comfort and ease. The general presidency for the affairs of the Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has urged the Umrah performers and visitors to respect the Holy Places and refrain from taking food materials and bags into the Mosque as well as avoiding sleeping inside the Holy Mosque.
