Iraq's parliament speaker, Fouad Maassoum, said on Sunday that lawmakers will hold their second session since March elections on Tuesday - following a first meeting in June that lasted only 20 minutes, according to dpa. "After parliamentary blocs met today, we agreed that the parliament will hold its second session on Tuesday and I call on all members to attend," Maassoum was quoted by the state-owned Iraqiya TV channel as saying. The session had originally been scheduled to be held earlier in July, but was postponed. -- SPA
