The U.S. and South Korean foreign and defence ministers warned North Korea of "serious consequences" if it carried out any more attacks against the South after a meeting on Wednesday. U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Defence Secretary Robert Gates joined South Korea's Yu Myung-hwan and Kim Tae-young in the unprecedented joint meeting and called on the North to abandon its pursuit of nuclear arms, according to Reuters.
