The Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Eng. Mohamed Jamil Mulla has affirmed the importance of the National Communication and Information Technology Plan and described it as one of the basic components of the Kingdom's development. He reiterated that the Plan will help realize the objectives of the sustainable development and improve the quality of the services provided to the citizens besides the transformation to the digital community. Eng. Mulla made these remarks in a preface to the first edition of the E-newsletter issued recently by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. The E-newsletter has covered many sides including a historic review of the plan besides shedding light on one of the objectives of the plan. In addition giving details about the ongoing projects as per the seven general objectives of the plan. The newsletter is a quarterly bulletin managed by the National plan secretariat in the ministry. --MORE
