Kyrgyzstan's government is setting up a national commission to investigate last month's ethnic violence, which claimed hundreds of lives and left thousands homeless, according to AP. Kyrgyz authorities said Thursday the commission will submit its findings in two months and issue recommendations on how to handle the fallout from the unrest. Hundreds of people, mainly minority Uzbeks, were killed in rampages by ethnic Kyrgyz. Hundreds of thousands of Uzbeks fled their homes. Authorities say the clashes were instigated by outside forces seeking to undermine the government.
