Al-Shura Endorses Saudi 9th Economic Development Plan

Majlis Al-Shura approved here today in its 41st ordinary session presided over by Assistant to the Speaker Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Barrack the 9th development plan 2010-2011 until 2014-2015.
On the other hand, Al-Shura approved establishment of a public body to oversee small and medium-sized enterprises, as an independent entity.
Following the session, Al-Shura Secretary General, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi said in a press statement that the approval of the 9th development plan bill came after listening carefully to the Economic and Energy Affairs Subcommittee's point of view and its replies to Al-Shura's members remarks on the proposed plan.
