Hong Kong stocks closed up 0.97 percent on Thursday in low volume, led by index heavyweight HSBC Holdings and other banks, which rose mirroring the performance of their peers on Wall Street, according to Reuters. The benchmark Hang Seng Index ended the day up 193.49 points at 20,050.56. The China Enterprise Index rose 0.62 percent to 11,375.29. HSBC closed 2.5 percent higher.
