Prince Khalid Al-Faisal Ibn Abdulaziz, the Governor of Makkah Province chaired here today a meeting for development of informal settlements in the south of the university enclave. The meeting discussed a study prepared by Jeddah Holding Company for development of an area of 5.4 million square meters. At the end of the meeting, Jeddah Mayor Eng. Adel Faqih said that by the end of the year, there will be a start of execution of 30,000 housing units as replacement for population of informal settlements.
