Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs, today conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Commander-in-chief for all armed forces, and those of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the personnel of the armed forces in Jazan during an inspection visit to Imam Saud Al-Kabeer 11th Brigade in Jazan Region. At the venue, he was received by Major General Hussein Ma'alawi, Commander of Jazan Force, Brigadier General Oan Al-Shamarani, Commander of the 11th Brigade, and senior officers. In a statement to reporters following the visit, Prince Khalid bin Sultan confirmed that the situation returned to normality at the Saudi southern border and that no activity of infiltrators monitored. He confirmed that the situation at the border villages was also normal. He announced that the Saudi air forces would take part in the Red Flag exercise to be held in the U.S. after three weeks. "I would attend that event", he added. Later this evening, Prince Khalid bin Sultan paid an inspection visit to the 41st battalion. He conveyed to its personnel the greetings of the Saudi leadership.
