American Summit, the Abha-based Al-Watan said the meeting of King Abdullah with President Obama is different than any other summit because the two leaders are characterized by remarkable political charisma. King Abdullah and President Obama are partners of great political and civilization programs and initiatives: if King Abdullah has earned the respect of the Arab and Muslim world, Obama has emerged as a popular leader who enjoys political attractiveness, and if Obama is preoccupied with the concept of change which has paved the way for him to reach the White House, King Abdullah is preoccupied with dialogue and reconciliation. If Obama constitutes the civilized face for the western democracy, King Abdullah embodies the civilized face of Islam, Arabism and humanity, said the paper, adding that if Obama represents the voice of freedom which is emanated from justice, King Abdullah constitutes justice which advocates fairness for the Arabs and Muslims who have fallen under the yoke of injustices. Taking the aforesaid facts, then it will be a normal thing when the meeting leads to understanding, said the daily, adding that the Saudi-American Summit will be successful irrespective of any agendas that may be carried by the two parties.
