President of Saudi Human Rights Commission Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Al-Aiban was decorated here today with Italy's Order of Merit in appreciation of his role to enhance bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Italy. To denote the significance of the title, Italian Ambassador to the Kingdom Eugerio D'auria, who handed over the order to Dr. Al-Aiban, pointed out to the fact that this order has been signed by both the Italian President and Premier. For his part, Dr. Al-Aiban extended gratitude to and appreciation of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his directive to accept the order. His gratitude also went to the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier. He also expressed thanks to Italy's Government and Ambassador for their highly appreciated view towards Saudi wise leadership and its policy. -- SPA
