Pakistan's Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Indian Home Minister, P.Chidambaram discussed in detail the bilateral issues between Pakistan and India as they met here at the ministry of foreign affairs on Friday. Chidambaram, who earlier arrived in Islamabad to attend the Third SAARC Interior/Home Ministers' Meeting, had called on Foreign Minister. Foreign Minister Qureshi welcomed Home Minister Chidambaram and expressed the hope that the visit would give further impetus to the SAARC (South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation) process and promotion of regional understanding and cooperation, said a press release issued here by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The two Ministers expressed the desire for developing friendly, cooperative and good neighborly relations between the two countries. The need for a sustained and comprehensive dialogue to build trust and confidence was emphasized, the press release was quoted as saying by the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
