Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr Abdullah Bin Abdul-Mohsin Al-Turki received here today Chairman of the Society of Islam and the West in France Dr Francis Laman, who was accompanied by Mauritius honorary Consul Dr Hashim Mohammed Ali Mehdi. They reviewed aspects of cooperation between the MWL and the Society notably relations between Muslims and western nations. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Laman highlighted the significance of the call of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah ibn Abdulaziz for conducting dialogue among the nations of the world and said such a dialogue would have a positive impact as regards enhancing understanding among the nations. He reiterated the keenness of the Society on cementing cooperation with the MWL as regards convening conferences and joint seminars so as to enable the westerners capable of understanding Islam. Dr Laman said the Society is working to issue a book on King Abdullah's humanitarian efforts. On his part, Dr Al-Turki welcomed cooperation with the Society for organizing conferences and seminars.
