The European Union's police and justice mission in Kosovo said on Thursday it had arrested and would extradite a man wanted in the United States on terrorism-related charges, according to Reuters. A statement from the mission said the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina charged the defendant with two counts, "the provision of material support or resources to terrorists, support for terrorism and conspiracy to kill, kidnap, maim or injure persons or damage property in a foreign country". Police said the man was arrested near the northern town of Mitrovica but neither they nor the EU authorities had any other details on the arrest or the man's identity. -- SPA
