The Chief Executive Officer of Jordanian Establishment for Development of Economic Projects Eng. Yarub Al-Qadhat has called for the establishment of strategic partnerships between Saudi Arabia and Jordan in investment and industrial exports as well as opening new markets for their economies. During his presentation of investment environment in Jordan here today on the sidelines of the 6th meeting of Saudi-Jordanian Business Council, he pointed out that Saudi Arabia tops the list of trading partners to Jordan with a share of 15.5 percent of total foreign trade with an amount of $ 530 million last year. Al-Qadhat noted that Saudi investments in Jordan amounted to $ 1.87 billion, including $1.54 billion in industrial sector from 1996 until the end of last month .
