Speaker of Saudi Majlis Al-Shura Dr Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh arrived here on Monday on an official visit to Azerbaijan. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Al Al-Sheikh expressed happiness over visiting Azerbaijan in response to an invitation extended to him by Speaker of Azerbaijan's National Council. He pointed out that the visit aims at enhancing cooperation between the Kingdom and Azerbaijan notably in the parliamentary domain. In response to a question about the Kingdom's stand vis-a-vis the ongoing dispute about Nagorno-Karabakh, Dr Al Al-Sheikh said the Kingdom's stand in this respect is very clear and inalienable and it conforms with the international resolutions issued by the UN and OIC which support efforts of Azerbaijan to reach a peaceful settlement on the basis of the international resolutions.
