The Minister of Water and Electricity, Abdullah Bin Abdulrahman Al-Hussein, who is also Chairman of Board of Directors of National Water Company (NWC) inaugurated here on Saturday evening the headquarters of the Company's Riyadh Water Works Unit. In his speech, Dr. Balghunym pointed out that the Company has started its functions of operation and management of water and drainage sector in Riyadh and Jeddah, noting that the establishment of the Company has led to radical changes in the performance of this sector and the increase of its operational efficiency according to world performance standards. On his part, the Company's Chief Executive Officer Loay bin Ahmad Al-Musallam said that the Company has executed 70 water and drainage projects at a cost of SR 1.436 billion in Riyadh and currently starting execution of 82 projects at a cost SR 4.730 billion, in addition to its intention to offer projects at cost of SR 4 billion.
