Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Friday that the latest U.N. resolution against his country lacks legal value, adding that the Security Council was a "tool in the hands of the United States", according to Reuters. He was speaking during a visit to China's commercial capital of Shanghai. China on Wednesday voted for a watered down U.N. sanctions package, which extended punitive measures against Iran over its protracted refusal to suspend sensitive uranium enrichment activity and open up to U.N. nuclear inspectors.
