Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed Al Saud, Governor of Northern Border Region, said today that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is now striving to compete with the world's great countries, citing the marvelous leap witnessed by the country in many fields. In a speech to mark the fifth anniversary of the allegiance-pledge of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud which falls today, Wednesday June 9, the Governor of the Northern Border Region noted that the Kingdom has made great strides in the economic, agricultural, health, educational, telecommunications and information, sports, transportation, cultural and industry fields. He said Saudi citizens enjoy the utmost care of the leaders of the country, citing the recent visits of the leadership to all parts of the country. He lauded the role of the Saudi government in support of Arab and Islamic causes, wishing the monarch, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier continuous health and happiness and the people of the Kingdom steady progress and prosperity.
