Three NATO soldiers died in road accident in southern Afghanistan on Sunday while two others were killed in insurgent attacks elsewhere in the country, the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said Sunday. One soldier was killed in a roadside bomb blast in the volatile southern region and another died "as a result of an insurgent attack" in an eastern province, dpa quoted the ISAF as saying in a statement. The military alliance did not disclose the soldiers' nationalities, nor indicate where exactly in the two regions the incidents took place. An earlier statement issued by the Afghan Interior Ministry said a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden motorbike into a convoy of NATO forces in eastern Nangahar province on Sunday, injuring 12 Afghan civilians and one policeman.
