based Al-Watan recalled with pride the speech delivered by Turkish Premier Erdogan during a funeral ceremony of the Turks who were recently killed by the Israeli naval force, in which he had affirmed that the fate of Turkey and Palestine can never be separated, that it is of a great significance. "We should think deeply to understand the contents of this speech," said the paper noting that Erdogan has made it clear that the Turkish blood can never be shed in futile. The paper pointed out that 'if we follow up the developments including the incident of Davos forum in which Erdogan left the forum angrily, then the incident of insulting the Turkish ambassador to Israel and lastly the incident of the heinous Israeli attack against Gaza aid flotilla, we will realize the fact that Turkey is utilizing Israel as a launching platform for emerging as a regional power in the region instead of running after the European train. "We have no objection for realizing the Turkish desire in this regard because Turkey unlike Iran is a balanced country in its foreign policy, but at the same time we should take into account certain important matters including the fact that when Turkey tries to play an attractive regional role it will put itself on the same saddle with the big countries in the region like the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Iran and Egypt. When Erdogan speaks about the fate of Turkey and Palestine, then he will put his country in the same boat with the Arabs," said the daily, adding that it is an essential matter for the Arabs notably the Kingdom to deal with Turkey urgently and deeply because Turkey in this case may be more useful for the Kingdom.
