An Irish ship with aid for the blockaded Gaza Strip, which was expected to arrive this weekend, is returning to port, amid accusations that Israel sabotaged other vessels in the so-called Freedom Flotilla, dpa reported. "We're going to pull Rachel Corrie into a port, add more high- profile people on board, and insist that journalists from around the world also come with us," the Free Gaza movement, which organized the flotilla, said in a statement late Thursday. The statement did not say when the ship would depart for the Gaza Strip. Citing Israeli hints that some ships intended to sail in the flotilla had been sabotaged, Free Gaza said that "We are going to make sure the Rachel Corrie is well protected." The Rachel Corrie was not among the six ships from the flotilla which were intercepted by the Israeli Navy early Monday morning, and seized when the captains refused orders to change course for the Israeli port of Ashdod. Nine people were killed as Naval commandos battled activists on board the largest ship in the convoy, the Marvi Maramra. Free Gaza warned Thursday night that "anything that happens to her (the Rachel Corrie), the passengers and the crew will rest with Israel."
