The shooting rampage in Britain in which a taxi driver killed 12 people and injured 11 before killing himself could have been triggered by a family feud over a will, reports said Thursday, according to dpa. Police confirmed Thursday that a 60-year-old solicitor consulted by the attacker, Derrick Bird, was among the victims. Bird's twin brother was also killed in the three-hour shooting spree in the region of Cumbria in north-west England. Police Thursday said 11 people were injured in the attack, which focused on the towns of Whitehaven, Seascale and Egremont. The figure of the injured had earlier been given as 25. Three people are still in critical condition in hospital and the condition of five is described as serious. Among those who died were a young farmer trimming a hedge, a cyclist and a man walking his dog. Police confirmed that Bird was a licensed gun holder and had two guns, a shotgun and a rifle with telescopic sights. His body was found in a wood at the end of the three-hour killing spree.
