Mukhtar Qul Mohammed, Minister of Culture of Kazakhstan and Dr. Abubakr Ahmed Baqadir, Deputy Minister of Culture and Information for International Cultural Relations, opened here this evening the Saudi Cultural Days in Kazakhstan. In a speech on the occasion, Minister of Culture of Kazakhstan welcomed the guests of the Saudi cultural days and the participants. The Kazakh Minister Mukhtar Mohammed also dubbed the occasion as a historic day for Kazakhstan for hosting the Saudi cultural days given that its people is aspiring to get acquainted with the civilization of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its culture. He thanked the Government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its assistance in the construction of some development projects in Kazakhstan. For his part, Dr. Baqadir delivered a speech on the occasion in which he stressed that the organizing of the Saudi Cultural Days in Kazakhstan reflects the distinctive friendly relations between the two countries. The opening ceremony was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Kazakhstan Hisham Zaraah; Kazakh Ambassador to the Kingdom Khaiyrat Sharif and the ambassadors of Arab; Islamic and foreign countries accredited to the Astana in addition to a huge number visitors.
