The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is participating in the 21st session of Directors of Civil Defense in member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), currently in progress in Qatar. Director General of Civil Defense Lt. General Saad Al-Tuweijiri, who leads the Saudi delegation to the meeting, said such meetings positively contribute to further cementing relations of GCC states in the field of civil defense. He noted that the participants of the meeting are scheduled to review issues pertaining to the concept of safety. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
