Palestinian Chief Negotiator Saeb Erekat said Monday that the Palestinian Authority has called for convening an urgent meeting of the Security Council and the Arab League to discuss the Israeli piracy and crime. President Mahmoud Abbas has issued his directives to the Palestinian representative at the UN to call the Security Council for an urgent meeting to discuss the Israeli piracy, massacre and crime, said Erekat. "We have also urged Amr Mousa, the Arab League's Secretary General to hold an emergency meeting of the League," he said, adding that Amr Mousa has immediately accepted the proposal. "Moreover, we have also called on the US administration to work for putting an end to the Israeli crimes," Erekat added.
